Making a commitment ...

Time spent in Nashville this spring has given me a chance to reconsider what I do for guitarists and this change in direction is reflected in this new, slightly more serious, website.

The world is full of gadgets for guitar players and it is too easy to be tempted into fitting just another set of 'holy grail' pickups.  The reality is often that there is masses of tone in a guitar just itching to get out with a little encouragement - that's not to say that parts may not need changed but it does mean listening to the whole instrument in the context of
the sound you want from it. 

I hope this site convinces you of the thorough and conscientious service I offer and I look forward to hearing from you.
